I am very honoured that my design for the Canadian Academy International school in Kobe has won the Japan Wood Design Award 2022.

The Japan Wood Design Award is a prestigious award in Japan. ‘With sustainable development goals and carbon neutrality having become essential, the use of forests and timber is in the spotlight. The main purpose of the award is working towards a sustainable society through creating a professional network that works together on the establishment of using wood. ‘

The Wood Design Award commends excellent architecture of projects where the value of wood through the power of design has succeeded.
